Avengers Inc. #5: "Case Number 005: The Prodigal Son"

"It's the end, but the moment has been prepared for, as they say. Here's where we tie off all the mysteries into a neat little bow - a little earlier than originally planned, but it should be a neat package for all that, with plenty of twists, turns, heartwarming moments and tragic downfalls as a few guest stars of old return for one last case."
-- Al Ewing

Victor Shade turns out to have been Ultron all along...Ultron Mark Twelve, the good Ultron. The rest of the Lethal Legion is infected with the bad Ultron, though, oops.

Nice to see Mark 12 back.
Thats makes more material for Waitingforthet's comics.

Mark 12?! Good grief, what a callback! I love it! There hasn't been a good Ultron since Old Man Logan's era.

With that opening quote, now I wonder how Al would be as Doctor Who's showrunner...

I'm just happy somebody remembered that Piecemeal exists. He was an interesting concept that never got the chance to do much.

Frankly, I am happy Hank's back and hopefully on a better path.

I am sure being surrounded by a gang of supervillains he conscripted will in no way have any negative consequences.

(Actually, it would be funny if they got better results helping Hank with his issues than the Avengers have ever been.)

Everybody getting the hot and younger and sexier synergy makeover, but the eternally unlucky Henry Pym just has to be played by Michael Douglas (and in the interior probably more closely resembles my last known memory of Kirk Douglas).

"Uncle Mark", love how Vision is always trying to cram his weird fmily into some kind of normalty.

I'd like to see Mark and Doombot hang out.
