The Apprentice

I don’t know if it’s supposed to be Revenge of the 5th or the 6th, but I went with the former last year so I’ll go with the latter today for the 7th because I forget to hit save before I went to sleep. Oops. Anyway, here’s a bit of a story from Star Wars Tales #17.

The Sith Lord Finn and his Apprentice have acquired the means to get off this backwards crime-ridden city they were stuck in, but they hit a bit of a snag along the way...

As a Sith there can be no room for hesitation, especially over feelings such as compassion or empathy. Finn tells his Apprentice to deal with the girl so they can be on their way, but he can’t bring himself to harm her.

Behold Darth Zemo - the man who can fall to his death while standing on the flat ocean floor.

I know you're doing a bit, but Oceanic Trenches are a thing...

That's why I specified "flat". Trenches aren't flat.

So to clarify, could withstand the crushing depths of the ocean but is a goner if slightly shoved.

And some jedi too. You'd think learning levitation would be more popular than it is.

"But master, could we not use the force on our own bodies?"

"No, padawan. Whimsical and fancy-free, Jedi are not. Over, your childhood is."

"Master Yoda is correct, apprentices. We will later be releasing live rats into your shared bedrooms and you don't get dinner until you hand over all of them."

You don't learn Force Jump until you've been fully indoctrinated out of any sense of fun.
