Think I might've pondered this before, but Kirby doesn't seem terribly invested in Thor-Jane, or just Jane in general. And this story does seem an awful lot more like a Kirby brainchild than one of Stan's.
A wolf-man having mental powers seems silly, but then again... dogs do have that amazingly ability to convince humans that they are in fact starving hungry, even when you just fed them. "Feeeed the dooogg... feeed the doooog... put that steak on the flooooor." So, yeah. Hyper-evolved wolf-man having psychic powers tracks.
