The name "Vulcan" feels familiar... and I don't mean Star Trek, or the gun, or anything like that.

But I don't really recognize this guy, either. Has he been around? Or was he just created to die here?

Ah, the 2000s flirtation with manga art. It... uh... it happened.

This feels rushed and I'm not sure in a way that's just from being excerpted for an S_D post. Did Miguel go right from meeting Vulcan to becoming his sidekick to now being a solo hero? Like, in an afternoon? Because there's "he's not ready for this!" underdogism and then there's just being silly.

Woodrue is an interesting character. Sometimes he's a harmless idiot or just a marijuana dealer. Sometimes he's a horrifying omnicidal monster. Sometimes he's even a superhero.
