We interrupt the Nova Roma story for a team-up with Spider-Man and some friends. This annual is placed before the Nova Roma story, I just forgot to post it in its proper place.

The New Mutants try to flee, but the hoodlums soon catch up.

Dani and Sam stumble into the church that coincidentally happens to be Cloak and Dagger’s hideaway.

Spider-Man happened to be passing by and recognised Dani and Sam’s uniforms to be X-adjacent.

Meanwhile, Rahne and Roberto seem to be being held captive by one of DC’s old horror hosts.

Presumably, Dani used her psychic bond with Rahne to find them.

I’m sure he’s just resting. With his back torn to shreds.

Thus, everything worked out fine in the end...
