Guardians of the Galaxy #24 - Wordless preview

Break out your icon making tools, kids. Marvel has some previews for Guardians of the Galaxy #24 by way of CosmicBookNews. Can we say "Hell yeah!"

I see that last panel and I hear the Smart Guns from "Aliens" unloading tons of pain and butt-kick.

And to quote Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction:
"Did you see the size of that gun? It's bigger than him!"

Inhumans! Guardians! Are those Brood?! And is that Blastaar?!

Holy crap, we have a melee! Bring the party hats!

I continue to find Rocket Raccoon and Groot the most entertaining parts of this book, with Star-Lord riding shotgun as the bewildered father figure. The translation of Groot's "GROOT"s in the debrief pages are always good too.

RR's gun must involve Hammerspace, like that one psycho red Autobot (old school one, not the movies) who always was shooting things with a gun three times the size of him.

"Holy crap, we have a melee! Bring the party hats!"

In the immortal words of Luigi Mario. "I thought this would be a melee. Instead it was a brawl."

In my country, we have a saying: don't piss off a raccoon with a rocket launcher.

Why is a cross-company version of Ambush Bug and a version of Swampthing with headbranches there?

The way the gun is drawn and from what I can see when it's hanging from his back when not in use, it looks like it extends when he turns it on.

Despite the fact that Star-Lord is my favorite character in this book, and I'd love to say that he's the big wacky action hero...I have to agree with your assessment completely.

The other day, as I was watching Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, I couldn't stop thinking how much more fun it would be if it had been the GotG taking on the Crime Syndicate. I kept waiting for someone to get tired of dealing with the Made Men and just have Drax kill them off-screen.

Man the art is suckin in GoTG lately. I'd drop it from my pull list if this wasn't Craig's las issue (for now).

Bug (formerly of the Micronauts) predates Ambush Bug by three years.

Sorry, couldn't disagree with you more. I wouldn't mind Paul Pelletier coming back on, but this is fine.

Sam Jackson should do Rocket's voice in a GotG Movie.

Seriously? I admit this page is fine and Craig has improved somewhat since the last run he did. But have you been getting the issues? Overall, pretty choppy. But I admit I like standard comic fair (e.g. Pelletier, Perez, etc.) not cartoony or sketchy.
