And I guess, in the end... that the danger in this situation feels inorganic, as did Dove and Boston being separated from Hank in the first place. Okay, the danger in most comic scenarios is usually going to be forced or over the top, but I felt it didn't give either time to sink in and think about their situation. Plus, the whole danger situation also is, empirically, strongly correlated with ideas of nation/country and family and war time in general affects people's psyche in a very unique way and how they react in those situations may be a perfect cocktaily mixture of primal instinct and cultural directives etc

Then again Boston just came back to life recently FOR REAL and Dove recently just lost her sister so.

While the situation is not implausible, the execution left a lot to be desired (re: everything in my case). GOOFY WRITING VERDICT ON THIS END. But both of your proposed theories hold great weight... I feel enlightened.
