When America's Best Comics launched, Alan Moore wrote text pieces for the first issues of each title. The text pieces for Promethea, Tom Strong, and Top Ten were reprinted in those books' trade paperback collections. The Tomorrow Stories piece, however, was left out of that book's trades.

That settles it - I have GOT to read 'Voice of the Fire'. And Alan Moore is, among other things, a master at evoking mood - I've never been to any of the places that he mentions here, but while reading it, I felt like I could taste the air and feel the wind off the sea...
