Hulk #38
In my earlier post about this issue we could have had a battle on four fronts.
Red Hulk.
vs.
The Serpent's forces (Angrir/Ben Grimm + Nazi war mech)
vs.
Modok and his forces (Zzax + LMD robots)
vs.
Zero/One and her forces (Black Fog and her own mutations)
with no one else in NYC to stop them.
Guess how this goes down?
The initial skirmish between Modok and Black Fog is seen in the preview, and Modok assessing the incoming war Mecha of Sin.
No one in NYC to fight back, as all the heroes are out across the Globe fighting the Worthy.
What does Modok do?
He becomes filled with the spirit of King Leonidas of Sparta.
1 Modok vs. an untold number of war mecha.
And Modok does what he was built for.. what he was BORN for.
The mecha assault Zero/One as well, and she gets involved.
Black Fog recovers, and pins Modok before the death blow, but Zero/One halts her weapon.
She would know learn from Modok.
The two upgraded beings .... bond... and realize they share more than one common enemy.
It's a war between the Old and the New, and the New plan to fight back.
And MODOK don't shiv.
The line is drawn, forces align, and a few stood against many.
