Hm, while one does feel kinda bad for the SC member there, and presumably others who try and escape, "Prevent war between evil forces from spilling over onto an inhabited world, while avoiding losses," is not a bad decision as far as Guardian calls go. Tactically sound, even.

Though John's also right to be worried, if one side is doing too well, that'd bad, especially if it's Brainiac wupping up on the side that's about as strong as the GLC.

That's what I was thinking. Besides which, if the GL get involved to help one side or another (all things being equal), it could create a political mess as well. Which enemy do you prefer? Additionally, the GL don't have the power to pull the opposing forces apart like an adult with toddlers saying, "Stop fighting."

The only thing that's iffy is what they plan to do with people like that woman, who are trying to flee the battle. Otherwise, Hal's frowny "I'm thinking about rebelling" attitude just seems... childish? even if his moral concern can be commended.

But John's found the loophole for them to get involved, it seems.

And doesn't Brainiac absorb information from everyone he kills? He's going to have the combined info of a LOT of Sinestro Corps members to add to his database for the next time he faces a GL.

While it's not included in these scans, it's revealed that all of Korugar is dead by the time the GLC gets there, much to Soranik Natu's distress.

I love me some Guy. He's my favorite Lantern by far. I'm glad that they're drawing him with a little extra weight. Every since he's been moving closer into the spotlight, artists have been drawing him with a typical slim/sixpack superhero body, which just feels wrong to me. Guy's got some pudge and that's how I like him.
