To all things an End.

3 months in, and my how the tables have turned.

With DCnU relaunch and the domination of most of their titles across the comic book distrubutors, the mighty House of Ideas is feeling the blows. Here is a list of the titles that will be cancelled and/or will never see the light of day after February 2012.

ComicBookResources has the article discussing the latest on the growing line of titles to fall.

Daken, Dark Wolverine will end.

From the article:
"In a just-published interview with Comic Book Resources, Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso revealed Daken: Dark Wolverine will be coming to an end, following a wave of cancellations that includes X-23 and Ghost Rider.

Although he didn’t indicate when the series will conclude, February’s Issue 21 is billed as “Issue one of the story the series has been leading up to,” suggesting the beginning of the final arc...."

it continues....

"... The Daken: Dark Wolverine news follows word of the conclusions of PunisherMAX and Black Panther: The Most Dangerous Man Alive, and the cancellations of Ghost Rider, X-23, Alpha Flight, Victor Von Doom, Destroyers, Iron Man 2.0 and All-Winners Squad."

Daken is joining the ranks of these other titles,

Well, since reading this on the sister board last week, my considered opinion is that Marvel can go piss up a rope.

It didn't help that I read it just after getting home from buying groceries and realizing that I was too broke to even buy a single comic because, y'know, I blew all my money on stupid shit like food.

You yourself are pointing out that being broke can affect a person's mood in a pretty bad way, yet you're condemning a man for letting slip an ill-conceived comment after he was *just* *fired*? Really?

I blamed my bosses when I was fired. I didn't blame potential customers by spitting unfounded accusations of theft at the lot of them.

If he was hell-bent on being a jerk by playing the blame game, maybe he should've done it in private.
