THOR #383: Sisters and Secret Wars
Marvel says that Thor villain Lorelei will appear on AGENTS OF SHIELD. Lorelei is Amora the Enchantress' sister and is even more of a... bad person than her sister.
This was from right after Walt Simonson's run on THOR ended, and even though this is by Tom DeFalso and Ron Frenz, it isn't really when their run started.
An Asgardian warrior named Daillus the Daring makes his way to Lorelei's castle.

Amora tells the story about the Secret Wars, and how she and Thor talked for a bit about if they really care for each other. Thor wants Amora to be a better person and a "true Asgardian." It has all the high-falutin' Asgardian dialogue we are used to, with Ron Frenz doing a very good salute to John Buscema.
The basic problem is Thor is all about virtue and heroism and Amora is... less so. Thor fights ALL of Dr. Doom's forces, and Amora has a chance to help him but backs down out of fear. It seems Thor is destroyed by Ultron, but of course he isn't.
Dr. Octopus: Well, it looks like Thor is destroyed. All that's left is his helmet and cape.
Dr. Doom: All right.
Amora: Thor is dead?!?!
Dr. Doom: You have a problem with that?

Amora is more of a character than just the "powerful woman as temptress." She has a genuine feeling for Thor and her own hangups are the problem. Thor thinks that Amora can be a better person. Amora and Thor became romantically involved during Warren Ellis' run on the title.
Lorelei, on the other hand, really *is* just a shallow hedonist.

TVtropes are considering categorising this sort of thing as The Hathor Effect, after the Stargate episode which introduced the first full blown female Go'auld host and she's Hathor, in O'Neill's words the "goddess of sex and drugs and rock and roll", who immediately gets all the men on her side by pheremones.
In summary, the Hathor Effect is generally a first-season ploy by sci-fi shows to get ratings through sex.
I hope I'm wrong and that we get a little more nuance than that, but the fact that only the second or third Marvel character they've decided to use is one who has magical sex appeal as her primary power doesn't fill me with confidence.
On the other hand it HAS to be better than their last Thor related episode... I hope.
