Amazing Spider-Man #4

After the events of 'Original Sin', Peter witnesses a secret -- another person was bitten by the spider that bit him. (Kudos to Slott for not making it Uncle Ben beating up Aunt May)



Peter goes to where she's being kept.



Peter lets her out and tells her that Morlun is dead. Cindy is happy to finally be free (she covers herself with a costume made of her webbing and calls herself Silk) and goes to see her family, only to discover that they're missing. Peter vows to help her find them, and she gets around to asking how Morlun died. Peter tells her it happened twice.

It's a better way certainly, but suddenly unleashing so many "secrets from the past" all at once is a bit much, especially when so many of them are so cliché.
