Blacksad: Amarillo

The latest volume of Blacksad was released in the US last month! Let's take a look-see, hm?




The story picks up immediately after the events of A Silent Hell, though there's not much that carries over (there are some returning characters from Red Soul, though). Blacksad and Weekly are still in New Orleans, but Blacksad doesn't have enough money to get back home.





Well that was convenient.




Blacksad goes after the carjackers (in their haste, they dropped a bag containing a marked map). But the two of them have a... falling out, shall we say.







After coming to his senses, Chad runs, while Blacksad chases after him, along with Chad's lawyer, Neal Beato. At one point Chad goes to a circus, which I'm sharing because I like the art. And why not?



Also at one point, Blacksad and Beato need to get some more transportation, so they wind up getting help from... his sister! Dun dun dun!
