I've been feeling a need to go back and re-read it lately. I think it's just because in these times, Jesse has something that's lacking in the real world.
Heh. I've lived in the Black Hills (where the Custer thing's called 'Battle of the Greasy Grass) and also Texas. So, yeah. Huh. It's interesting to see a non-American writer use one or two stereotypical 'meaningful name' forms well. Theoretically. I haven't read Preacher yet.
