After watching Sen. Jeff Sessions' idiotic remarks at Sotomayor's hearings today, I could only think of one thing. DAMN I miss Jesse Custer.

Heh. I've lived in the Black Hills (where the Custer thing's called 'Battle of the Greasy Grass) and also Texas. So, yeah. Huh. It's interesting to see a non-American writer use one or two stereotypical 'meaningful name' forms well. Theoretically. I haven't read Preacher yet.
