Moon Knight #188: Crazy Runs in the Family - Part 1

"The first story we’re telling, I’m hoping to create the ultimate nemesis for Moon Knight. I know he has one a little bit, but I still feel, like when we were talking about it initially, if he’s Batman, he doesn’t really have a Joker — yet. What I’m doing is, rather than focusing on his inner struggles so much, this is about him coming up against really intense, life-changing scenarios, and the main one being facing the ultimate bad guy who’s his polar opposite in pretty much every way (without giving away too much)."

Indications of her listening to too much right wing media.

Honestly, the whole of this comes off as a really clumsy way address of the current culture of toxic masculinity leading into white supremacy and violent fascism - so clumsy it almost feels like it was intended to cause the opposite effect and argue *for* those causes quote-unquote "Ironically".

Yeah, not being American I don't know the Constitution, but it's easy enough to google. I can find no reference to the word "God" at all, the word religious appears once, as a direct reference to "no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."

Even the common term "Our Lord" is used only when dating the document (as in it's single reference to "the Year of Our Lord")
