She's squee-ing and fangirling over known homicidal maniac Norman Osborn. The art name-dropping is the least of her problems.

I remember this when it was first released, and this scene just turned me off to the series. Pop, Crackle, Snap? There was not enough brain bleach/alcohol to scrub that one out. No. Just...No.

I know Mark Brooks's art gets a lot of criticism for sameface but whatever is going on with Wiccan and Hulkling is not an improvement

Sure Norman went out of his way to discredit Ben but - after the first Pulse arc - no reasonable person would trust Osborn.

Not to mention that her death happened very shortly after her father's death and in both cases, Spiderman was involved, something the Bugle made a lot of hay about. So it got a lot of coverage.
