Name-dropping the real artwork from which you borrowed your name is definitely an indicator that someone has heard of your own artwork, if you live in Cloud Cuckoo Land.

She's squee-ing and fangirling over known homicidal maniac Norman Osborn. The art name-dropping is the least of her problems.

I remember this when it was first released, and this scene just turned me off to the series. Pop, Crackle, Snap? There was not enough brain bleach/alcohol to scrub that one out. No. Just...No.
