I don't know about that. Plenty of people have caught rides on the hammer that way. Juggy isn't attempting to lift it, after all

No, he isn't lifting it. It is lifting him. If Thor dropped the recall command, then it would drop and Juggernaut would not be able to pick it up (maybe, unliftable-object/unstoppable-force error) because then he'd be trying to pick it up. Which all leads to the thought that Juggernaut can defeat Thor just by camping out on Mew-Mew and waiting for Thor to come and get it.

The whole thing is wacky. I haven’t seen Juggernaut with a personal force field that slows approaching things before.

My favorite Juggernaut scene is Rachel’s takedown in Excalibur. “Hi. I’m Phoenix. Guess what I do?” “Oh no.”

Though even Rachel needed Kitty to phase the psi-proof helmet off him first IIRC, and he wasn't wearing the skull cap version underneath the way he sometimes does.

Oh, and I don't think the hammer is slowing, it's just hitting a currently immovabe object and having no effect.

And now I see he actually says that it's slowing down Sorry

Yeah, that seems more of a Unus the Untouchable thing.

Actually, I’m thinking of Excalibur 3 where they’re stopping a jailbreak. Juggernaut doesn’t have his helmet on from the start. He trashes Brian then Rachel shows up and one-shots him.

This does get a call back issues later when Uluk tries it and Thor goes "nope, not falling for that again" and just holds out his fist to hit him as he gets close.

Amusingly enough, given the source of Juggernauts powers, this is a time I'd be willing to believe it somewhat. Two ancient, powerful magics coming into contact can have odd outcomes, after all.
