A surprisingly upbeat ending. I like how Chad basically has the realization he's just too backward to fit in and he doesn't have the capability to adapt so better for him to go into deep freeze and take out the scumbag about to kill people for profit in the process. Not too bad overall, easy jokes aside.

When the first issue of this was posted, I criticized it for appearing to buy into the "JOCKS BAD, NERDS GOOD" dynamic of so many '80s movie.

Turns out I was completely wrong and this was actually a surprisingly effective deconstruction. Well done, Paul Constant.

Trust me, after that CollegeHumor parody video about "80s Pranks"... nerds are NOT good.

I recommend Pop Culture Detectives "The Adorkable Misogyny of The Big Bang Theory". It does a great analysis of Revenge of the Nerds.

It's actually "wholesome" in a way. Basically, a group of guys at work plan to pull some "wacky" pranks from their favorite 80s movies... only to have the one guy shoot them down to how much they're all sex crimes, and pretty much ALOT of the stuff from Revenge of the Nerds were a wide range of sex-crimes... guess it REALLY earned that R rating back then...
