Acts of Vengeance II: Part 1

I had a half-baked idea for a sequel to one of my favourite events, Acts of Vengeance. I had the idea to feature heroes that might not have featured in the original event, whether they hadn't been created yet or if the situations in their own titles meant they couldn't take part. Like how the X-Books came up with situations to exclude the likes of the X-Men (scattered thanks to the Siege Perilous), X-Factor (off in space) or the New Mutants (in Asgard).

There wasn't much of a story behind my thinking. It is just a bunch of heroes fighting villains that I thought it would be cool to see fight.

Wolfsbane Vs. Dracula. Wolfsane wins the fight when she pulls open the curtains to let in the sunlight. She uses a makeshift cross to make sure Dracula doesn't get away.

All-New Wolverine Vs. Ultron. Things go a bit Terminator 2 when the All-New Wolverine takes on Ultron in a steel mill and punts him in to a vat of molten steel.

Selfsoulfriends Vs. Fin Fang Foom. I'm not ashamed to appeal to the community for views.

Hercules Vs. Juggernaut. Juggernaut was part of one of my favourite moments in the original event, so of course I would use him again here.

Squirrel Girl Vs. Venom. The idea for this was that Venom was attacking a SHIELD base in the Antarctic. The guy with the beard is a totally original character of my own, R.K. MacBeardy.

I love the idea of Rahne just going straight up Hammer Pictures on Dracula.

Yep, the whole idea was for Rahbe to go all Peter Cushing on Dracula's butt. (Peter Cushing was Van Helsing in Horror of Dracula for those of that weren't aware).

I'd like the idea that Dracula called Rahne for this because he heard she was a Werewolf and assumed she was a supernatural Werewolf and not just a mutant with Werewolf like powers.

Of course, it was apparently Dracula's son who turned Jubilee into a vampire a few years back, you think he would have gotten the Deets on the X-men and what they could do when that happened.

Or Rahne thought it was her sacred duty to rid the world of the unholy threat of Dracula.

Finally, a reason for Rahne being absent for every single X-Men event in the past 15 years, it wasn't because PAD kept a tight rein on his X-Factor characters, but because she was their ace up the sleeve for Dracula attacks!

Say what you will about Cyclops, he has contingency plans for EVERYTHING!

New Headcanon: Rahne spent a couple of years bumming around Europe hunting monsters with Elsa Bloodstone.

Rahne: Its a funny story really, she thought I was a real werewolf and shot me in the shoulder with a silver bullet, after she apologized we went out for a pint and got to talking, and she invited me along to go monster hunting.

Kitty: Okay maybe I'm missing the "funny" part of the story, Did you say she SHOT you?

Rahne: I guess you had to be there.

Dani: pretty sure if I had been there I would have choked this Bloodstone lady out. I still might.

Doug - Did you not GET the bulletproof jacket I sent you at Christmas? I sent them to everyone on every team I've ever been on... Because of reasons...

Now this is giving me ideas. Watch out for the future adventures of Rahne and Elsa: Monster Hunters!
