Which is good because Dan Slott's writing is absolute garbage and always has been
And the only thing I can think of worse than his shitty writing on an ongoing is his shitty writing on an event where he ruins characters from across the marvel universe
I meant no offence to his fans but yeah personally I can't stand him or his writing at all and so the news of him writing an event would be about as welcome to me as getting a call from my doctor that I should come in to talk about some worrying test results
I've been reading comics since I was 8. There's a Marvel story I've wanted to tell since I was 9. Hickman reminded me "I was telling someone the other day about you pitching me this when we were on a plane to Dublin. 12 years ago!" Tomorrow, I finally officially pitch that story.
I know Dan is bad with deadlines, but this is ridiculous
Oh, I missed this article! Honnestly, even after that Empyre epilogue, I didn't want to get my hopes up, because it seemed to me that Slott was too happy playing with big name characters to go back to his old plots. Now there is nothing official yet but it looks like he didn't give up on it. I hope that Gauntlet and Southpaw will still have a big part in it. Heck, maybe that's related to this "Last Annihilation" announced for this summer. I'm all for another Slott/Ewing space event, especially if it involves more C-listers this time.
