Superman is apparently turned into a baby and both Lois and Lana scheme to influence him to choose them when he is turned back.





It is eventually revealed that the baby Superman wasn’t their Superman but one from an alternate universe.

If this weren't the Silver Age, I'd have just said the reason Alternate Lois and Lana were smiling in that last panel was because they're secretly after one another, and this solved that particular issue.
(mind you, judging by Regular Lois and Lana's expressions... and Superman's not terribly keen one...)

Just how much misery and madness could've been avoided if Lois and Lana had stopped going after Superman and just borrowed the Fortress of Solitude's keys for a few days?
The world may never know.
