Baroness Zemo is actually Heinrich Zemo reborn in to a female body. She claims that this was all part of a ruse, but I wouldn't put it past Helmut Zemo to marry his father in a female body.
Love to put superfluously verbose word/thought balloons in comics, stating things that the art already does/the reader could probably figure out on their own, like " You are my enemy and saving me, I am amazed and a bit shamed! ", " Holding my enemy up is significant exertion, but I will hold on! ", and " I have been shot in the arm - it made me let go of the guy I am holding! "
It's a miracle the third panel with Baroness Zemo doesn't have " I am shooting you, fiend - shooting you with my gun! "
was this about the time Steve lost the Super Soldier Serum and ended up getting a new supply from the Red Skull, because Skull didn't want Cap to die a wimp in power armor?
I presume the next page is a series of panels showing each of the children dropping in after their parents in an unrelenting tide while Steve watches on and weeps at the humanity.
At the end of Gruenwald's run, yes. I believe the Red Skull gave Steve a blood transfusion. But yes, he saved Steve because he didn't want his nemesis to go out like a wimp,
Look, if given the choice between boots with good tread and boots with fur lining then you gotta go with style.
I'll admit I really enjoyed Thunderbolts-era Zemo but he's one of those antagonists that I've had to reevaluate in light of real world events. Some stuff that used to be over the top just isn't anymore and guys like Zemo and Doom come off a lot less like cartoon characters now.
Weirdly Lex Luther comes off better, though. At least he divested from his company when he became President.
Turns out it's from the same architect who designed the house from the Vincent Price version of "House on Haunted Hill" which has a giant vat of acid in the basement.
Which no one has taken to draining or removing or covering at any point...
Seriously, why are there no covers or nets or something in case of situations like this? It's like someone is actively tempting fate that they won't take a nosedive straight into them...
It's been a while, and I think I might be getting this from, like, an audio adaptation, but didn't he tap Talia al Ghul to run it for him while he was president? And then it turned out that she'd stole everything out from under him?
