The God of Arepo

Back in 2018, I wrote a short story in response to this writing prompt, about a farmer and the god he befriends. It was fairly popular on tumblr, other people added on to it.

Today, the entire story has been adapted into a comic by the talented Reimena Yee, and she has it available to purchase at the Shortbox Comics Fair for the month of October, with the proceeds being donated to charity!

Ouch... that last part is soul-killingly bleak.

I hope the farmer finds another kind of fulfillment.
