What would Deadpool do with the power of Thor?

Greetings True Believers!

What wouldn't he do? Let's find out! Verily.

DP lifts the hammer.

Of course, the first thing he does is fight for justice.

But of course, it's all the trickery of the vile Loki. Hammer-fight and Wade's question.

Thor's answer.

A romp indeed.

Giffen being the one real exception: Marvel has always done humor more seamlessly in its universe than DC ever has. i.e. Marvel is better at making fun of itself.

Which makes sense, given the generally light-hearted atmosphere that tended to prevail during the Stan Lee period - the man loved him some quips. Also, it may have something to do with its rate of development - DC had some majorly iconic characters in their stable pretty much right off the bat, but Captain America and the like aside, it took Marvel until the early '60's to really hit their stride. Hence, they were much more the underdog during their early years, and it's a lot easier to be self-deprecating when you're the underdog.
