DC Solicits are up...
At Newsarama. Not going to link because they're pretty easy to find.
And these are the few that interested me.

BOOSTER GOLD #23
Written by Dan Jurgens; co-feature written by Matthew Sturges
Art and cover by Dan Jurgens & Norm Rapmund; co-feature art by Mike Norton
“Day of Death” continues! Booster Gold reveals the Black Beetle’s plan to wipe out the entire JLA by going after their most incompetent former member – Booster Gold! Plus, Blue Beetle comes face to face with the mad scientist who created the robot army that’s destroying Texas!
I totally just want this issue for the cover.

POWER GIRL #4
Written by Jimmy Palmiotti & Justin Gray
Art and cover by Amanda Conner
Variant cover by Guillem March
“Space Girls Gone Wild!” part 1 of 2! A trio of sexy alien marauders hits Earth for the ultimate party. Unfortunately, by their standards, that means destroying it! Of course, it’s up to Power Girl to crash their festivities.
I know the team hasn't been that great so far, but this issue sounds pretty wacky and there's nothing I love better than Amanda Conner art with wacky storylines.

SECRET SIX #12
Written by Gail Simone
Art by Nicola Scott & Doug Hazlewood
Cover by Daniel Lu Visi
A crisis of conscience splits the Secret Six right down the middle and puts them on opposite sides of a horrific war involving Amazons led by a deluded Artemis! But that's just the opening bout for the main event: Jeannette vs. Wonder Woman!
If this was written by anyone other than Gail, I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot long spear. But since it's Gail, I will brave the Amazon waters.

WONDER WOMAN #35
Written by Gail Simone
Art by Aaron Lopresti & Matt Ryan
Cover by Aaron Lopresti
“Birds of Paradise” part 2 of 2! A gaggle of super-powered cage fighters find themselves in the worst possible place to be – on the bad side of Wonder Woman and Black Canary! Also, find out the final resolution between Diana and Nemesis along with much, much more!
Okay, there's almost no way in hell this won't turn out awesome.

I'm sorry, but all the Powergirl solicits are saying to me is: fanservice, fanservice, fanservice. I mean, "a trio of sexy alien marauders"? Really?
*ahem* FUCK YEAH! DINAH & DIANA GAIL-WRITTEN TEAMUP!

The WW#25 cover looks so fantastic I almost feel bad that my second reaction, after "ooh", was "hold on a second have Dinah and Diana always been the same height?" Nothing saying they can't be, I guess, but it seems... off.
no subject
I think it's because of Dinah's boots. They look really chunky.
no subject
Does anyone ever draw her as taller with heels on than Green Arrow? She's worn heels that have to be 4.5 inches, and if she's Diana's height in flats, she pretty much can't be shorter than Ollie in heels, even if we assume that Diana is shorter than Ollie normally, which is another of those ahahaha-yeah-right things.

Diana's been listed everywhere from 5'8" to 6'4", depending what SF&O page you happen to consider canon at any given time. Dinah I've seen I think 5'2' to 5'6". At any rate, she's generally drawn pretty tiny.

Btw, what's up with the cut? It just redirects me to my friends page.

Also, "final resolution"? I'm trying not to believe that's as promising as it sounds.

"Also, "final resolution"? I'm trying not to believe that's as promising as it sounds."
Don't get your hopes up, comrade. It's too vague a phrase to really tell us anything. "Final resolution" could mean anything from "wedding bells" to "Tresser gets driven permanently insane by the events of that crappy miniseries he's in, ending the relationship by default." I'd be very disappointed in Gail if the former was the case, though.

... dammit, I thought I'd dealt with this stupid optimism problem I keep having.

Oops. Sorry. I keep forgetting that most people don't want to hear all the ways it could be worse. ;-)

I really hope Gail gets around to improving some of Diana's lesser-known villains.
So far she's been sticking to the same formula of her predecessors: Introduce new "major" villains (WML's White Magician, Byrne's Dark Angel, Luke's Cronus and Devastation, Jimenez' Sebastian Ballesteros, Rucka's Veronica Cale, Gail's Circle, Genocide, and Olympian), ignore the previous writer's "big villain," use a few of the most well-established WW villains, and fill the rest with guest villains.

Gail kicked off with The Circle (her own creations) and Captain Nazi (with more of a focus on Captain Nazi initially). Then we got 2 issues of Wonder Woman dealing with the Khund (not really her villains) and a Green Lantern. Then 4 issues where she wrapped up the story of the old "Stalker" series, fighting D'Grth. Then we got two issues of WW fighting the Queen of Fables (a Simone creation that's fought the JLA and Superman, and is scheduled to fight Batman and Captain Marvel next). Then Rise of the Olympian, using a mix of Gail's own creations, Cheetah, Dr. Psycho, and Ares (villains that definitely need a tune-up, but at least they've been established post-Crisis).
I'm waiting for the arc where the main bad guy is a Wonder Woman villain that's NOT a new character, or Cheetah, Ares, or Circe.
