Fury Of Firestorm The Nuclear Men #1 has two distinctions.

1. It has the longest title of the reboot.

2. The last page is arguably dumber than the last page of Batman: The Dark Knight.

Aaron "The Mad Whitaker" Bourque; also, Voodoo #1 was surprisingly good. It definitely did "sexy" better than either Catwoman #1 or Red Hood and the Outlaws #1 . . . not that that would be hard in the latter case.

Fury is a dumb name (though not as dumb as One Face),

HDU. Samuel L Jackson is going to come down upon you with great vengeance and furious anger.

That is a reference to mythology, it's acceptable. Just going by FURY is as bad as most of the names of the new heroes from the 90s. At least it's not misspelled.

...I don't see how a name can really be bad (short of an inappropriate one or plain silly). Aren't all names equal in the end?

Fury IS silly, except when it's a reference to something that's not, like mythology.

What? Why? Fury is an emotion, it's no more a silly name than, say "Hope", or even something like "Doomsday", and is a good descriptor of this creatures mindset.

Flash?
Superman?
Hawkman?
Cyclops? (Who has two eyes after all)
and even Firestorm?

Flash, yes. It makes sense, but it's still silly.

. . . actually, the same can be said for all of them, to varying degrees.
