Thori's littermates

When last we saw the Hel-puppies, they had been distributed to their forever homes.

While intended for Valkyrie, Warlock seems to have decided that the puppy is his little secret. (Somehow the stalker neighbor knows more than his superpowered housemates. What the hell, guys.)

As he hoped, Tyr's puppy is a good little hunter. (She is successful, but her other appearance in this arc is as a tiny background speck on a splash page.)

I haven't sighted Mephisto puppy, Gaea puppy, Heimdall puppy, or Christmas puppy. Anyone know if they show up again?

The fact that Warlock in his later X-Factor run never had his puppy makes me sad... if all else failed, I hope Dani took him in...

Heimdall's puppy makes an appearance in the Hilde focused one-shot of Kathryn Immonen's Journey into Mystery run (#651 if I recall correctly). Actually he is quite big by that issue... and does what pets do. (Waking you up in the middle of the night.) :3

Edit: So checked. Yep. That's the issue. It also names that pup Hati.

Why don't they just call Forge to come out and fix the car?

Pretty sure Forge was dead at the time.

In Marvel comics that is less of an excuse than "didn't hear the alarm-clock and overslept".

He was also crazy and evil before he died. In the genocidal sense.

Cable fixed him and he's been better since then.

Isn't that overkill?

Yea, I think it's a bad idea even, because Forge does not simply *fix* cars. Forge *improves* cars. He improves cars in ways that may be surprising and unexpected and catch the drivers offguard and make them glad they have a pilots license!

Because they are deliberately choosing to live without the X-Men in their lives like that.

They moved to San Francisco from Utopia following the "Schism" event to remain neutral ground for everyone (Since their line up includes Mutants, former Mutants and aliens) and are trying to live more like normal people to remain more grounded, so no accessing Roberto's insane wealth.

Pretty sure calling in Forge would be seen to be not quite in keeping with that ethos,

Their mission was to help deal with the mutant fallout from other X-events, and then give those involved the offer of going to Utopia, or the Jean Grey School. or at least live their own lives, according to what they really needed.

It was a pretty fun run!
