I had always assumed Skip was, like, a middle-aged family friend or something, hence the white hair. I didn't realize he was intended to be only a few years older than Peter. Huh.

Wait is Skip older than Peter or are they the same age? Also, whose idea was it to make Skip look like Uncle Ben? This feels a lot like the Superman issue where Lois changes her race. Good intentions but a bad execution.
