This was part of the Spider-Man and Power Pack issue produced with the National Committee for prevention of Child Abuse. It was free so I'm posting the story in its entirety.

Wait is Skip older than Peter or are they the same age? Also, whose idea was it to make Skip look like Uncle Ben? This feels a lot like the Superman issue where Lois changes her race. Good intentions but a bad execution.

I think Skip is supposed to be a couple of years older than Peter, but no more than that.

And agreed, ground-breaking comics, and for all it's faults this really is one, rarely land perfectly the first time.

I wish they would do more comics like this every year - both of the big 2. It doesn't need to be part of a story arc or anything. Just once a year, to reach any kids they can.

... And full disclosure, I cried reading this. It is not a perfect comic but it took the issue head-on.
