I love how honest Edmondson was about discarding 1872's premise with Red Wolf: " I was excited for 'Red Wolf' when I saw the opportunity to cook up something with the flavor of 'Justified,' and in the Marvel Universe no less.

I want to love this series, I really do, but Lil' Wolvie just kills it for me. I get that they're doing the whole "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" aesthetic, which is neat, but his art style just... clashes with everything around him to the point where he becomes the main focal point for your eyes.

EX-FUCKING-ACTLY. I can live with the (shitty) idea! The goofy dialogue! But yeah, it's not just that he doesn't fit in, especially not with that art. He actually looks pasted on yay.
