This is what I wanted as a sequel to 1872, not Occupy Avengers.

I love how honest Edmondson was about discarding 1872's premise with Red Wolf: " I was excited for 'Red Wolf' when I saw the opportunity to cook up something with the flavor of 'Justified,' and in the Marvel Universe no less.

.. Our title is all about Red Wolf in Today’s World, and we more or less leave the fun and quirky fantasy of Timely behind. I want to love this series, I really do, but Lil' Wolvie just kills it for me. I get that they're doing the whole "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" aesthetic, which is neat, but his art style just... clashes with everything around him to the point where he becomes the main focal point for your eyes.

I just think they used the wrong Chibi Wolverine. I'd much rather see the one from Bullpin Bits / Mini Marvels.

EX-FUCKING-ACTLY. I can live with the (shitty) idea! The goofy dialogue! But yeah, it's not just that he doesn't fit in, especially not with that art. He actually looks pasted on yay.

T'Challa is so beautiful (wish they'd put the panther head on the belt buckle tho).
