"Surely my latest attempt to bring about world peace by using a godlike being as a nuclear weapon won't go wrong... Right?"

This is an odd mix of "I'm sure I'll get it right this time" and "Fools! I'll show them all!"

Poor Firestorm.
He never gets the respect he deserves.

I guess I got to give them that: Firestorm would not get good press.

He is a walking nuclear weapon who talks to himself, sometimes loudly and angrily. Thats got to make people leery.

As wonky as this series has been, this issue was alright. Mainly because it's mostly Superman being Superman.

This actually... wasn’t that bad?

Other than the fact that the DCU citizens are supposed to be too smart for this sort of thing. (Anybody remember “aliens, go home!” when the Dominator alliance demanded Earth turn over its metas?).

And man, when you can’t see the Floating Head of Professor Stein, Ronnie really comes off as unhinged.

I can hear Will Smith at the end of I am Legend with Firestorm, here.
