No, the frustrating thing to me is that Bendis actually acknowledges her past behavior nefore he wrote her and then goes on and has her act like that *anyway*. To me it says that he KNOWS he's ignoring continuity, and just doesn't care.

Sentry and drugged-up Venom being skeeved out is pretty sensible, but yeah, Ares' thinking the idea is horrifying ramps up the hilarity factor tenfold.
