Megatron & Starscream: Interlude + AWESOME public service announcement

I'm going through an extremely busy period and I haven't been able to post anything lately, nor do I think I'll be able to post anything for quite some time. Plus, my Megatron & Starscream series almost got up to date with the current IDW series (http://tinyurl.com/mjplzwd), and there is very little material left for me to show.

But there is one page in particular I always wanted to share. And today, when I saw that the Humble Bundle is back with almost 100 TF comics for around 12 dollars, I decided to finally do it :)

He used to be such a sweet boy... Ok, no, not really, but he was slightly less murderous! )

And here is the link to the current Humble Bundle: https://www.humblebundle.com/books

The Death of Optimus Prime, generally considerd an excellent jumping-in point, is included in More Than Meets The Eye Vol. 1. It's pay-what-you-want, so you could get 37 issues for a dollar.

Angela: Asgard's Assassin #3

'There is room for different expressions of Angelic cultural values. There's probably a conflict between how they view friendship on a societal level, which I suspect might be a kind of Ayn Randian Objectivist view. That might be a hard philosophy of Angels. There might be some Angels who don't believe in friendship versus other ones who have expressions of friendship perhaps not encouraged by the system.

'That's kind of my reading of their system. The more complex readings there are of Angels would be the more interesting one for me.

'We can also look at our relationships. We say our concept of friendship is based on altruism, but we can always ask, "Well how much is it really?"'

God Is Dead #29

"I did a lot of research. When I was a kid I was a huge fan of mythology. I really wanted to get as familiar as I could with the cultures that created these Gods. Particularly ones that are less known in pop culture. Like the Aztec culture the Nahua. Their relationship with their gods is very different than the western model. One of the foundations of their pantheon is one of extreme gratefulness. Everything comes from the Gods and therefore we owe everything to them. The idea of human sacrifice wasn’t this crazy concept because you already owe your life to the Gods. So in sacrifice you’re just giving it back to them." - Mike Costa
