So this being unofficial Gen X Week, I was thinking about what to post. Well, there are the kids, but I'm sure they'll be well-covered. As for the adult supervision, we only have Emma Frost and Sean Cassidy. Now, with them being the only possible heterosexual pairing in their age group, you'd think there'd be some UST there.

Or Emma Frost could utterly loathe Banshee with the force of a thousand Sentries. Whichever works.









There's context here, but it's boring, so I'd prefer to think that Emma just makes a habit of punching Sean after telling him where cock goes. And every time the various X-Men spin-offs are meeting with Professor X...

I have to admit, back when I collected GenX, Emma and Banshee were my OTP. They still are, in a way. I want Sean and Jean to come back from the afterlife vacation they're on to put their exes in place.

Ok. That would be a small problem for an Emma/Sean pairing, but it's nothing that can't be solved with a threesome!

Not married, but long term partners and they were in a long distance relationship during Generation X. A fact that often seemed to be forgotten up to the point of Moira's death, which Sean took hard because she died when he wasn't around.

The weird thing is that despite the chemistry Scott Lobdell played with between Sean and Emma, before he left the book he had plans for a very different relationship. According to a later interview, in the long term Emma and Chamber would have become Generation X's first official couple.

Which is kinda brain breaking and was never actually hinted at during his time on the book but apparently a long term plan.
