Parallax!Hal destroys the Spectre's Black Ring, freeing him. Then Atrocitus tries to turn him into a Red Lantern.




Then the Spectre goes to take on Nekron.

"The universe will die now."

Maybe it's because the Spectre is (almost) always tethered to a dead human soul, and that is a vulnerability Nekron can exploit?
