Jeff Parker Double-bill

Four scans from Exiles #3, and three from Agents of Atlas #6.

First in Exiles, which is easily the better of these series, our heroes bust out of jail and engage Magneto and the imperial household; Blink is out to get Jean or Emma to read Magneto's mind.

The Exiles flee, with Blink wondering what's going on with the Tallus and the portals; they end up in a desert world ruled by Ultron, Vision, and Machine Man.

In AoA, the team heads to Altantis to try and find some information about the Cabal.  However, Namor cottons onto Bob's attempts to read his mind, and a big brawl starts.

Ah, lame "they're not really related" save, where would we be without you?

Bob's got an erotic attraction to... sea-anemones? So THAT'S why they won't let him in Seaworld! :)

Maybe because they remind him of Uranians?

I guess?

He doesn't get National Geographic for the articles, oh no.

To quote Farscape: "Bob is the female of his species"

I don't know, for real, but it would make sense.

And I am busy scrubbing my mind now after imagining what Iceman would do with that kind of inspiration for porn.

Eh, the Exiles was a little predictable. I'd have preferred that we find out that in at least one reality, Magneto was in fact on the side of 'good' and not an out-and-out bastard as he is everywhere else.

Well he was a good guy in Age of Apocalypse.

More or less what happened in the first mission of the first Tallus-led Exiles team.

Oh Magnus how I miss you. Issue 2 of the original Exiles was probably the only time we had a genuinely good Magneto appear in the series aside from the Age of Apocalypse Magneto who I could've swore died in the original Age of Apocalypse but eh.

"Aaah! Cousins making out!"
"Oh it's ok, they're not related. I think it's great!"
"Oh....ok. How about them?" *points to ultimate Peitro/Wanda (aka Ultimate Panda)*
"No. They are.... they're... they're really going at it, aren't they?"
"AAARRGH! My eyes!"

Exiles: I've become greatly attached to our current cast. They're fun. Love that Blink is fighting her urge to make it clear she knows more about what's going on than the others believe. Machineworld's gonna be a hoot and a half as far as I see.

Agents of Atlas: Rednecks in the sea. They act like we can't see.

is this Blink the same as the one originally on Exiles? it's strongly implied, especially since she's the only one who didn't have a backstory during the first use.

Yep, she is. Though why she's acting new to this will be a fun reveal when it comes up.

Still needs Mimic back though. Really, seriously. Exiles never really worked without him.
