What happened to Parallax?

As you may remember, Hal Jordan freed and rejoined with Parallax during Blackest Night in order to help defeat the Black Lantern Spectre. The two were separated again, but Parallax vanished without explanation... until now.



You'll note that this plan by the hooded villain does not include capturing the Black Hand or the Entity.

Unless, in a suitably cinematic moment after the Beings are trapped, we find that these monoliths were raised on a much larger altar which is dedicated to the Black Lantern and which we can't see yet because we're focussing in too tightly. Sacrifcing the Spectrum Beings to the would be a major boost to Nekron, no?

What has always amused me about the Lantern symbols since we first learned about the spectrum is... that the 6 other symbols make the GL symbol look weird.

According to the story he is telling, when the guardians locked him up there (before the Manhunters and GLC, he was FIRST, he says), he actually made up the GLC motto. He says he put the Blackest Night and Brightest Day part into the slogan, so he is aware of them.

Personally, I took this to mean that he wanted them out of the way, by the rest of his text. They exist, but are not relevant to his plans.
