The God of Arepo
Back in 2018, I wrote a short story in response to this writing prompt, about a farmer and the god he befriends. It was fairly popular on tumblr, other people added on to it.
Today, the entire story has been adapted into a comic by the talented Reimena Yee, and she has it available to purchase at the Shortbox Comics Fair for the month of October, with the proceeds being donated to charity!

Heartstopper by Alice Oseman
I decided I wanted to post at least one comic during the pride month, and I’d like to close it with one I have very mixed feelings about – though unlike other stories I regard as such, my opinion on the story itself differs greatly on my opinion on circumstances surrounding it. Trigger warning for mental health issues, body dysmorphia, eating disorders and self harming in particular.

Sandra and Woo's Moat Arc
So I am not sure but I kinda have issue with the's "both sides" argument, especially the recent Lava Moat arc, also felt reactionary.
I mean Oliver seems rather progressive type and anti-authoritarian, not to mention that he's a German who should know better.

And Ends here: http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2020/09/11/1209-klm/
Comments seem to be very ignorant sounding even if they aren't Trump supporters. With the recent Capitol Hill issue, my tired nature with fake centrists--and people who believe them because they don't look like Trump or "establishment"--especially since I spend time in the gaming community and those types seem to be common. Let's not mention South Park, which also shared his "political opinions".
I know both sides unwilling to talk, echo chamber (almost got into anti-SJW crowd before spending time here realize how much of a shill they are), and political discourse are serious issues, but no one is making a critique on being moderate...at least making a facade.

Power Nap
The online graphic novel Power Nap by Maritza Campos and Bachan has just finished, and in such an appropriate month too. Who knew near-universal use of a simple pill to remove the need for sleep could have such horrifying consequences?
Chapter covers behind the cut.

Hazbin Hotel
Hazbin Hotel is a multimedia project of Vivienne Medrano, whose plot is best described by the author: "Hazbin Hotel is the story of Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she pursues her seemingly impossible goal of rehabilitating demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom. She opens a hotel in hopes that patients will be "checking out" into Heaven. While most of Hell mocks her goal, her devoted partner Vaggie, and their first test subject, adult film-star Angel Dust, stick by her side. When a powerful entity known as the "Radio Demon" reaches out to Charlie to assist in her endeavors, her crazy dream is given a chance to become a reality."
The prequel comic recounts how Charlie and relictant Vaggie recruited Angel Dust. Please note that the comic vulgar, with politically incorrect (and rather immature) humor. ( Read more... )

Threads Of Red Jack
So Daniel Kibblesmith wrote this and I drew it back in 2007. I just rediscovered it in the archives and thought I'd post it here, because any distraction is a good distraction right now.
