Batman #162: A Family Divided Again

Bruce syringe injected Barbara with a toxin that temporary paralyze her for a few minutes. Which brings up traumatic memories of her being paralyzed by the Joker.



Before Batman can finish his sentence. Damien ropes Batman out of the church window and drives him across the city, on his robin cycle. So to bring Batman back to his senses



The Riddler snaps Damien batline wire, which cause Robin to crash. Batman fights Ridder with for a bit. Which riddler is wearing a mechanical suit armor to give him a temporary edge.

After The Riddler is defeated. The Bat members catches up to Batman's location. Jason shows up driving the Batmobile. Red hood gets out and starts shooting at Batman. Then later gets into a fight with huntress.




Somehow Batman knew that the Batmobile was rigged to explode. You got to wonder who put a bomb in the Batmobile, Jason or Hush?

That raises the question: Was he trying to get that reaction from Batgirl?

Not really been following this, but at this point I'd be willing to believe Batman has been installing bombs in his own Batmobiles.
Not in case any of his enemies found out his identity and then stole them or something. Just, you know, because.


Also, maybe Bruce would finish his sentences if he used a friggen contraction once in a while.

I think this story would have been better received if it had no dialogue.

It's ASBAR all over again: by the time Lee finishes drawing and the issue comes out, the reader is well aware it was a waste of his time.
