I find Lemire hit or miss much of the time, but I'm digging this storyline so far.

Also... hey kids, it's Cyclotron! *jazz hands* The guy who will somehow give Al Pratt super-strength and eventually give us Nuklon of Infinity Inc! I think he may be radioactive...

And Justice Society DARK. Because they're MAGICAL.

Loving the tall woman/short man dynamic between Hippolyta and the Mighty Atom- is anyone else seeing that page twice?

Ah, Hourman...I got a couple of old team up comics with him. One where he and Dr. Fate fight Solomon Grundy after he returns from space and one that's the introduction to the second Psycho Pirate. And there was a bonus where he was killed but his Miraclo pill kept his body functioning.

Seems a terrible basis for a super power. A pill that gives incredible power for one hour? That is not enough time for a big fight.

Who's that woman in the last panel? I recognize Blue Beetle, Zatara, Dr. Fate, and Jim Corrigan...

Apparently that’s Madame Xanadu, the mystic/fortuneteller, a long-time staple of the magical community. Also immortal? In some origins, she’s tied to Arthurian legends and/or the Lady of the Lake and/or the Fae

I'd think that most big fights are over in far less than an hour. One just has to be careful about how far in advance of the fight one takes the pill.
