So, the High Evolutionary has these two miracle super babies, and the High Evolutionary, whose entire mission statement is to advance human evolution, and he has two kids which are basically the pinnacle of evolution...

...And his big plan is to use those kids as a Battery for a big super murder bot.

Brilliant move there dude. You basically had the key to everything you were ever trying to accomplish, and you use it to power up the most cut rate of all cosmic horrors.

Since when does the High Evolutionary have problems with insufficient power generation? This is the guy who built Counter-Earth, complete with an entire mirror human population, and engaged Galactus in a fight as a near equal!

His power fluctuates as much as his sanity some times he's pretty much a cosmic entity other times he's just a man in a fancy suit. He's basically as powerful and/or sane as the plot demands.

Oh wow. This reminds me of a really good webcomic that used the same concept, a conquering alien empire called the Varn Dominion that use a genetically engineered race of marsupials to be their power source. When the aliens attempted to 'civilize' humanity, we begged, bribed, threatened, and more to the marsupials to make them stop supporting the Varn Dominion, but they were genetically bred for absolute loyalty. So to save the human race, we were forced to slaughter them all.

The story deals with one single survivor and how the galaxy fights over him so they can bred their own slave-race of limitless energy. It dropped off the face of the internet for a while, but I finally found it again! Here it is.

I know. Terminus is the D Lister of alien conquerors. Plus he just looks so... nineties.

I mean, if you're going to squander the super perfect evolution babies, at least use it for a higher tier cosmic villain like Thanos or Galactus.
