I get the compressed nature of What If...? means a lot of things need to be skipped over, but Johnny sure seems to get over his massive dislike of Spidey pretty dang quick.

What if Spider-Man joined the Fantastic Four? Check.

What if Jane Foster had found the hammer of Thor? Check.

What if Spider-Man's clone lived? Check.

What if The Amazing Spider-Man had not married Mary Jane? Satanic check.

And that's just a few. Make you wonder if the Watcher has been pitching storylines all this time.

Except of course back then, nothing was ever actually made of his scientific know-how. Yeah, he was smart enough to invent web-shooters and webbing, but the best he could do was take photographs instead of using his brains in his personal life.
