I guess my mantra when writing the Avengers is the "there came a day" speech -- "there came a day when Earth's Mightiest Heroes banded together to fight a foe no single hero could withstand." That and their battle cry being "assemble" -- it writes itself. It's a team built around the virtues of community and collective action. The Avengers are the slap in the face to the "there is no society", "I got mine" ethos -- they're not an exclusive club of the biggest and toughest and most popular, they're an organization grouping together to fight the threats to the ordinary citizen that they are best equipped to fight. -- Al Ewing

Random titbit: This issue is a lot easier to find second-hand than Avengers Assemble #15.

Al Ewing, starting at Marvel as he evidently meant to go on.
Deep cuts, intriguing character moments and the occasional burst of terror.
Oh, and tie-is.

There's a scene not shown here where in the sewers Ultron sends in a drone based on his original tin can form to gas people to death.
Someone, either Ewing or Ultron, has one twisted sense of humour...

Poor Stunt-Master, demonstrating why you should never get a Stark prosthetic.
Or a Stark anything, really.
(Why anyone at Marvel trusts Stark with anything more complicated than a spoon I'll never know.)

Stark constantly putting his name on new business ventures when the last one went under seems super shady.

But somehow Peter Parker isn't allowed to ever do business again because he bricked some phones while fighting Nazis.

Sadly, it's an Age of Ultron tie-in, so it's ultimately pointless.
Pretty much any cool Moon Knight / Black Widow shenanigans are entirely off-screen, and nothing they do has any impact on the plot.
