How is Two-Face so easy to understand to his fans and so hard for writers to get right?

I think because a piece outlining his personality is one thing (or two I suppose! :) ) but writing an exciting action adventure yarn intended for long form graphic narrative which utilises that personality to best effect is a lot harder.

We can understand why he is as he is when he explains it, but turning that into an effective crimewave/plot is rather more complicated.

Excellent story, loved the way it does justice to the psychosis of our dear Two-Face and the ending was pure gold. Thanks for sharing this gem.

By the way, is it just me or does Two-Face resemble Jeremiah Gottwald from Code Geass?
