From the sequel to Jessica's solo series Alias, she's beginning to give birth to her and Luke Cage's baby. He feels that this is a good time to bring up her friend Carol Danver's last pregnancy, much to the discomfort of everyone of the room.
And I swear that I'm not posting this just because of that Todd Akin guy's moronic comments a few days ago.
Carol, this might not be the best time, but is your superhero outfit really the best thing to be wearing in a hospital?
And it just occured to be that getting mysteriously pregnant is something that she has in common with Power Girl, who pre-Crisis (I think) she was impregnanted by the universe for some reason (yeah, really). Since this was shortly after she slept with Hal Jordan, he naturally decided to act like an ass and start yelling at her for denying that it was his baby.

It seems as though, in fact, that Jess is saying "well THIS PREGNANCY HURTS LIKE HELL BUT OKAY LET'S THINK OF CAROL, THINK OF CAROL, THIS CAN'T BE AS BAD AS WHAT CAROL WENT THROUGH, BUT DAMN THAT GIRL ONLY GOT A FEW WEEKS BUT STILL, THINK OF CAROL, THIS CAN'T BE AS BAD AS CAROL'S SHIT"Okay but then she goes on to say "I want him to hear this" so let's just ignore everything I just said and say Jess is a douchebag, with labor leeway, but still pretty high on the douchebag scale.
