I love these!

I like how much space is used. Even a single panel is an entire page, and it's used so effectively too.

Yes, but I think he's more a lover of symmetry and geometrical forms; in the past I remarked that his art is very similar to M. C. Escher's.

I'm not sure I get the one with the single black chair.

Well, it's a joke about authority and non-conformity, isn't it? The harmless black chair is in the middle of the other chairs, and the police are called to pick up the subversive and restore order.

To be honest my first thought was that it was some racial symbolism.

There's that too. I think it's one of those neutral political cartoons that you can interpret very loosely.

I love the artistic sensibility he uses with the space. Not only is it amusing, it's also great to look at.
